A Day of Fun and Dress Up – Halloween 2012

While Grandma and Grandpa were here, we celebrated Halloween a little early!  We don’t trick or treat outside our house anymore due to allergies, so it doesn’t matter when we dress up, eat festive foods, and play games.  We played a version of Duck, Duck, Goose where we changed the words to Princess, Princess, Troll.  JuneBug thought that was hilarious and wants to do it again.  Ah, the suggestive psychology in a name change…

Here are the kiddos in this years addition to the dress up box ;):

BittyBug was Tinkerbell

JuneBug (still very sick in this photo) was the young Rapunzel (ala Tangled)

HorseyBug (also sick in this photo) was a cowgirl

JitterBug is the grown up Rapunzel (ala Tangled) complete with frying pan and Pasquel on her shoulder.

Here they are with their pumpkins:

BittyBug painted Minnie Mouse on hers (with Dad’s help)

JuneBug painted Mickey Mouse on hers –

HorseyBug cut and painted hers to be a very large oyster shell that could hold Ariel and Flounder

JitterBug wanted to do something that represented good, so she cut and painted hers to be the Young Women’s logo torch, as seen here, although she has the prior edition that has the colors on it. =)

Loved the pumpkins! All the bugs looked so cute in their costumes – even if they weren’t all feeling well. = )
